Quiet Celtic Evening Prayer is a gentle, reflective service held on the last Wednesday of each month in the Webster Room at All Saints Church, Helmsley.
Rooted in the prayer tradition of the Northumbria Community, this service offers a simple and spacious rhythm of psalms, scripture, silence, music and prayer. It is intentionally unhurried and contemplative, creating space to rest in God’s presence at the close of the day.
A particular focus of our prayer is for all who visit All Saints, Helmsley, especially those who pause to light a candle or leave a written prayer. Their prayers, concerns and thanksgivings are gathered and held before God with care and faithfulness.
You are welcome to come just as you are, whether you are familiar with Celtic prayer or simply seeking a place of peace.

Welcome to this hidden gem of a church - near the red telephone box, along the grassy track and behind the copse of trees!

Enter, relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, remembering the many who have worshipped here and continue to come here to pray and meditate in this special place.  

The church is on the Temple Moore Trail and was celebrated in a poem by John Betjeman.
