Living Holiness Lent Course

Lent offers us an invitation to slow down, to reflect, and to notice where God is at work in our everyday lives.
This Lent, you are warmly invited to join our Living Holiness Lent Course, exploring a gentle Rhythm of Life shaped by worship, prayer, love, generosity, scripture, rest and sharing faith.

Each week stands on its own, so you are welcome whether you come to one session or the whole journey. There is no pressure, just space to reflect, listen and grow.

The Parish Eucharist at All Saints': Common Worship with hymns accompanied by the organ. Toys, books and colouring sheets are available for younger members of our congregation in the Webster Room (at the back of church, under the tower). The service is followed by refreshments at the back of church.
The church bells are rung before the service.
All are welcome, both to the service and to join us for refreshments.

Celtic Evening Prayer

Quiet Celtic Evening Prayer is a gentle, reflective service held on the last Wednesday of each month in the Webster Room at All Saints Church, Helmsley.
Rooted in the prayer tradition of the Northumbria Community, this service offers a simple and spacious rhythm of psalms, scripture, silence, music and prayer. It is intentionally unhurried and contemplative, creating space to rest in God’s presence at the close of the day.
A particular focus of our prayer is for all who visit All Saints, Helmsley, especially those who pause to light a candle or leave a written prayer. Their prayers, concerns and thanksgivings are gathered and held before God with care and faithfulness.
You are welcome to come just as you are, whether you are familiar with Celtic prayer or simply seeking a place of peace.

Palm Sunday Procession and Eucharist

A procession with palms, which was already observed in Jerusalem in the fourth century, is accompanied by the reading or singing of the Passion Narrative, in which the whole story of Holy Week and Easter is anticipated. The service starts in Helmsley Market Square and continues with a service of Holy Communion in All Saints' Church. All are welcome.
