Christmas is a time of giving, and we are encouraged to give to those less fortunate than ourselves and our families. The annual Gift Service in aid of the Angel Tree Project will take place on Sunday 7th December at 9.30am in All Saints Church. The presents are for the children of prisoners on Teesside – please mark your gift with age and sex for which it is most suitable. Gifts will be placed under the Christmas tree in Church. To see how this works, please click on the link to the flow chart.
It is where you “give” an item a day, starting about 6th November, so that by early December you have 25 items that can be donated to Middlesbrough Food Bank. Either put your box in Church, Chapel or give to George Reid, 6 West End, Hutton Rudby, by 9th December so that it can be delivered, in time for Christmas! It’s a great way to show children that Christmas is also about giving. You can also get them involved in the project by asking them to decorate the box.
