Following Bishop Barry’s visit to Middle Esk Moor and his encouraging conversations with Reverend Anthony, Ed Mangles, Jackie Newton and others, we are holding a special EGM for everyone across our four parishes. This gathering will be a chance to share our collective vision for a flourishing, sustainable future—one that ensures we are able to maintain a full-time priest for the long term, with Anthony continuing in that role through to his retirement in 2035.
We’ll introduce the overall shape of the plan that’s now emerging, including some of the steps needed to strengthen our local ministry, deepen our working together, and secure a sustainable approach to finances. While the finer details will be worked through by the Advisory Council and the individual PCCs, this meeting is an opportunity for everyone to hear the direction of travel and offer their reflections.
