September 7th 4pm Catch up on our summer, sing a few songs, eat some cake and spend time on reflecting on God’s Grace in the second part of our Deuteronomy series
October 5th 4pm Learn about life being brought up in a missionary family from a visitor to the group. Further details to follow. Tea and Cake as always
November 2nd 3pm A simple around table afternoon tea (scones / jam / cream and other goodies including gluten free) followed by a time to share thanksgiving and prayer requests. For catering purposes helpful if you can rsvp to Helen ([email protected]) or alternatively just turn up!
December 15th 3pm (Monday) note change of day Carols round the Christmas tree with mulled wine and mince pies.
January 4th 3pm A message from God. Have you ever found the Bible hard to read or understand? Then this short stand -alone film is for you. You may also like to bring one of your favourite bible verses to share

March 1st 3pm Wellness God’s Way – Following our Deuteronomy series
April 5th 4pm (Easter Day) An Easter theme/ celebration with chocolate! Easter hymns and bible readings

May 31st 4pm (change of day/date) Methodist preacher - John Nelson’s Story. This will be our last meeting until September and it will be music based with an opportunity to sing (or listen to) some songs and hymns and learn about their writers. You definitely do not have to be able to sing to join us!

This will be a special service for all those that have lost a loved one. There will be time to light a candle to remember those we have lost; time to remember the good memories. Please contact Jackie Newton or Reverend Anthony for any further information required.

Village Cafe every First and Third Tuesday in our village hall from 10:00 o'clock till noon.

Come along and join us as we explore the Bible together in a relaxed atmosphere. No need to be a Bible scholar, or even to have read the Bible. All are welcome, and all will be included in our discussions.

Join us on Sunday at 10.45 am in Glaisdale in the beautiful church of St Thomas, as we share a very special time of Celtic Communion together. The purpose of this small group is to create a space where language and concepts can be explored safely, and greater insight developed. The group meets every two weeks and is open to all, of faith and no faith. A space to listen, share and question.

Join us in the beautiful St Thomas’ Church for a special time of prayer using meditations and chants from the Taizé tradition. No need to be able to sing and no prior experience needed. For further information email:

A special monthly service using the traditional and timeless words from the Book of Common Prayer alongside periods of silence, with space for prayer and quiet reflection.

At this special meeting we’ll build on all the energy we’ve generated and hard work we’ve put in across Middle Esk Moor over the two years. Each of our teams, including people from across our villages, are beginning to take the load off our four parochial church councils (PCCs) by working collaboratively on common priorities.
