Welcome!

We are part of the Church of England and our parish covers the west side of Rugby serving the neighbourhoods of New Bilton and Overslade. However, our members come from all kinds of backgrounds and from all over Rugby and its surrounding villages.

Above all we are a group of people who seek to be followers of Jesus, experiencing the love of Father God and the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

There is more information, including live-streamed services, on our website www.smso.org.uk If you have any questions please contact our office at [email protected] or 01788 330440.

Safeguarding

The parish of St. Matthew and St Oswald is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Coventry’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
