HOME BIBLE STUDY

Every Tuesday afternoon from 2.30pm at The Rectory there is a Home Bible Study Group. All are welcome.
We will be looking into depth the readings given from the previous Sunday Service. It is an opportunity to further explore the Bible.
Refreshments are served at the beginning of the Home Group

WEDNESDAY MORNING PRAYER SERVICE

We meet every Wednesday morning at 10am for Morning Prayers. On 3rd Wednesday in the month there is a Holy Communion Service as well as a service for HEALING AND WHOLENESS where anointing with oil and being prayed for takes place.
On the 1st Wednesday of a month there is a Celtic service. This is quite a beautiful experience with Celtic music played.

Our first week of Advent Study begins on Tuesday 25th November 2025 at 2pm at the Rectory.
We will be following a course designed Susanna Gunner with the Diocese of Norwich Mapping series. This one will be Mapping Advent.
During this course with the aid of a well put together leaflet or map, an opportunity to explore Advent's rich themes through Biblical reflection, art, poetry and music is made possible.
There will be 4 maps to follow each week and they are- Watching and waiting, Preparing a place, the need for change and saying yes.
Refreshments are offered at the beginning of each course and there will be ample opportunity to think, reflect and share with other members of the group. All are welcome

CHRISTMAS CHILDREN'S CRAFTS

Our Christmas Children's Craft Event takes place this year at Milden Cricket Pavilion in Milden. This is a warm and safe space for children of all ages to be.
There will be opportunities to make many things and the theme this year will be 'Angels'.
There will be a story and lots of refreshments provided.
Come and spend a wonderful fun loving time with us at Milden on Saturday 29th November 2025 at 2.30pm.
There is plenty of space to park in front of the Pavilion

ADVENT 1 - 10.15am Holy Communion

Our Advent Services begin on Sunday 30th November at 10.15am at Brent Eleigh Church.
This is a beautiful space to worship in, a space where people have worshipped over hundreds of years.
This Advent we will be having a Church Pop Up Choir which will help us to celebrate the coming of lord Jesus into our world.
Seasonal refreshments will be on offer.
Kick start the Advent season with is at Brent Eleigh.

ADVENT 1 - EVENSONG

On the first Sunday in Advent we will be holding a Service of Evensong at St Peters Church, Monks Eleigh at an earlier time of 3pm.
There will be refreshments following the service.

ADVENT 2 - CHRISTINGLE

Our Christingle Service will take place at Monks Eleigh Church on 7th December 2025 at 10.15am.
This is always a fun service where we reflect on Christ's coming into the world by making a Christingle candle using an orange, a candle, some sweets and nuts and red ribbon. It is fun making them up as we go along. We will have an opportunity to light them.
Everyone will be given a pack for making them at the beginning of the service.
This will also be a service of Holy Communion and refreshments will be served afterwards.
