15 August is the day when traditionally the church marks the entrance into heaven of the Virgin Mary. Of course, she is remembered at various other feast of the church's year, but, as with other saints, we mark particularly her entrance into heaven and this is the day set aside for this. So there will be an additional mass at 12 noon.
