The nation is mourning the loss of Her Majesty the Queen. Her
example of service, together with her constant presence, have been a
source of support and comfort all our lives. She will be greatly missed.
There will be a book of condolence at Shimpling Church, and floral
tributes can be laid at the chancel step.
If we are to honour the Queen, we will do well not to allow ourselves
to become too despondent, Indeed, at her Jubilee earlier this year the
Queen urged us look to the future with confidence and enthusiasm.
