We journeyed through Advent with Mary who had the courage to believe. Joseph who had the strength to obey. The Shepherds who experience the Joy of witness and the wise men who had the humility to seek, they all in their own way led us to Christmas morning when we too recognised the gift of Gods presence amongst us once again.

Our advent soup lunches were significant for us in that we enjoyed home made soup and time getting to know each other better, and watched films of the Holy Land. This brought the familiar story to life in new ways for us and prepared us to receive Jesus afresh this year.

We hope to be doing something similar as we enter into lent this year.
