Creeting St Mary, St Mary

Welcome to St Mary's Church, Creeting St Mary, the church on the hill overlooking the A14, floodlit at festival times.

You will always receive a very warm welcome, come and enjoy refreshments after our church servive. we meet on the second and fourth Sundays in the month, occasionally on the 5th, more details in the 10 Village News or Creeting St Mary's bi monthly news letter or Creeting St Mary Church facebook page.

Our beauiful church stands on the former site of another church All Saints. All Saints had a round tower and when it fell into disrepair through lack of foundations, flints were used from it to build the north aisle of St Mary's.

We have beautiful stain glass windows by Charles Eamer Kempe and W E Tower, who succeeded him and a Brian Thomas modern window commisioned in the 1950's.

The Church is always open on Sundays and festival days. At oher time please ring the Churh warden on 01449 720740.
