Come and join us on a Monday evening twice a month between 7 and 8pm in ALL HALLOWS CHURCH HALL to read the Bible together, helping each other as we go and seeing what the Bible has to say to us

Big Garden Bird Watch

Occurring
for 1 hour
Venue
All Hallows Church, Ipswich
Address
Landseer Road Ipswich, IP3 0EN, United Kingdom

As part of our eco-church project, we are counting the birds that visit our churchyard. We need as many eyes as possible to watch and count for an hour. We then send our results in to the annual national Big Garden Birdwatch survey run by the RSPB.
You don't need to know lots about birds, and children are welcome. Help will be given and it's fun looking and listening! Bring binoculars if you have them - or you can borrow a pair on the day.
And don't forget to wrap up warm - though a cuppa and bacon butties afterwards will help us warm up!
Last year we saw nine different species including robin, pigeon and blue tits. What will we see this year? Come and find out!

Enjoying Nature at Martlesham Wilds

Venue
RSPB Martlesham Wilds

RSPB Martlesham Wilds

Meet at St Mary's Church Martlesham in the car park off Church Lane IP12 4PQ, for a guided walk of about 2 miles taking roughly 2 hours round this new Suffolk Wildlife Trust nature reserve (https://www.suffolkwildlifetrust.org/martleshamwilds).
Everyone of any age is welcome, though there are some steps and we ask that children are accompanied, please. Wrap up warm, and wear good walking shoes/boots as it may be muddy!
It's a great opportunity to enjoy fresh air, spot birds on the water and in the fields and hedges, and even see some early signs of spring, perhaps! Bring binoculars if you have them.
Afterwards there's an option of a cuppa or even a mini pud at the Red Lion in Martlesham (cost for that is about £7.50). Lifts from All Hallows Church may be available.
