Big Garden Bird Watch

As part of our eco-church project, we are counting the birds that visit our churchyard. We need as many eyes as possible to watch and count for an hour. We then send our results in to the annual national Big Garden Birdwatch survey run by the RSPB.
You don't need to know lots about birds, and children are welcome. Help will be given and it's fun looking and listening! Bring binoculars if you have them - or you can borrow a pair on the day.
And don't forget to wrap up warm - though a cuppa and bacon butties afterwards will help us warm up!
Last year we saw nine different species including robin, pigeon and blue tits. What will we see this year? Come and find out!

All Hallows Church, Ipswich

LOVING GOD, GROWING TOGETHER, WELCOMING ALL

We are a committed congregation who are passionate about sharing God’s love in our community in the south-east of Ipswich, the county town of Suffolk.
Though the congregation enjoy fairly traditional worship with a mix of some Catholic and Evangelical practices, we are looking to develop a range of services through the week in order to reach out to a wider demographic.
We have a Sunday morning congregation, an online presence, and a physical presence through the week, notably through our ‘Top Up Shop,’ (www.ipswichtopupshops.co.uk) and in our ministry with the local schools.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Ipswich: All Hallows is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of St.Edmundsbury & Ipswich’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
