This celebration is held on the 4th Sunday of Lent and was once a time when people would visit their "mother church". It is now an opportunity to reflect on our mothers and to give thanks for their part in our lives. We also take time to think about the Virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus.

During our morning service we distribute small posies of flowers for people to take for themselves or to give to their mothers.

We are a committed congregation who are passionate about sharing God’s love in our community in the south-east of Ipswich, the county town of Suffolk.
Though the congregation enjoy fairly traditional worship with a mix of some Catholic and Evangelical practices, we are looking to develop a range of services through the week in order to reach out to a wider demographic.
We have a Sunday morning congregation, an online presence, and a physical presence through the week, notably through our ‘Top Up Shop,’ (www.ipswichtopupshops.co.uk) and in our ministry with the local schools.
