On Monday night 6th Oct, in a full church at St Mary’s, Haughley, we celebrated the Installation and Induction of our new incumbent, Revd Andrew Kevin Buttress into his new role as Rector in the Haughley with Wetherden and Stowupland Benefice by The Right Revd Graeme Knowles, Acting Bishop of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich,

Over the last few weeks, Revd Andy together with his wife Dawn & family have been completing their move to the Haughley Rectory and Revd Andy is looking forward to taking his first service in the Benefice this Sunday 12th Oct at St Mary’s, Haughley. Next week, Sunday 19th Oct Revd Andy will be at Holy Trinity, Stowupland and the following week, Sunday 26th Oct he will be at all 3 churches.

Please continue to pray for Andy and his wife Dawn and family as they settle into their new home at Haughley Rectory.

Heavenly Father, we continue to pray that you will fill Revd. Andy with your wisdom and grace to shepherd your flock with love and compassion. Guide his steps, strengthen his voice, and grant him discernment to lead us closer to you. Amen.
