Plough Sunday – A Celebration of New Beginnings
Join us on Sunday 11th January as we mark the traditional start of the agricultural year with a joyful service of thanksgiving and blessing. Whether you're a gardener, farmer, or countryside lover, you're warmly invited to bring along a trowel, spade, seeds—or any tool of your trade—to be blessed as we dedicate our work and care for creation to God.

Swilland, St Mary

Fascinating small church with unique tower, attractive reredos, rare organ, and Queen Anne plaque. Relatively recent archeological inspection dates building from Saxon times. The church is open every day, with portable disabled ramp access, and hosts short tours for interested groups. At present we have no toilet but have future plans to remedy the situation with a proposed new facility
