Palm Sunday Service of the Word

This is a family service lasting about an hour. The service starts with brief prayers in our village hall car park after which Magic, the pony (our "donkey") will lead us in a procession to the church (about 200 metres). Branches will be strewn across her path through the church gate, after which we'll enter the church (without Magic) for the remainder of the service. It replaces our normal 09.15 service.

Set in the heart of Bredfield with its fine flint-clad bell tower and idyllic country churchyard shaded by ancient lime trees, the church is a cornerstone of the village community.

Our services are generally traditional in nature, with hymns accompanied on the organ. Children are welcome at all our services and activity packs are always available. Refreshments are available after the services in the church room. 

We are always looking for new congregation members as well as volunteers to help on a regular or occasional basis with flower arranging, cleaning and maintenance of the church & churchyard.
