Welcome to St Mary’s Church, Depden.
Our little medieval church is hidden in the woods, half a mile from the road and only accessible by foot. Local people have worshiped in this place for hundreds of years. It is a place of retreat, refuge, tranquillity and peace and is much loved.
We are working to ensure that the church remains at the centre of our village community providing fellowship, friendship, care and support. Everyone is welcome wherever you are on your journey with Christ; firm believers, doubters and those not sure alike.
You are welcome to join our monthly Sunday worship and join us for refreshments afterwards.
Our parish of Depden: St Mary's is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO) Tim Freathy.
