The season of joyful celebration that began at Christmas now continues through the successive Sundays of Epiphany, and only ends with the Feast of the Presentation (Candlemas).

The child who has been manifested to the magi at his birth, and was recognised by Simeon and Anna, when he was presented in the Temple according to the Law of Israel.

He is the one for whom a voice came from heaven, saying, "You are my Son, the Beloved; with you I am well pleased".

Our readings today come from Isaiah 43:1-7, Acts 10:34-43, and Matthew 3:13-end.

Our Epiphany Carols today are 'Crown him with many crowns" and 'Hail to the Lord's Anointed' .
