St. Mary the Virgin is a vibrant parish church serving Bures in Suffolk and Essex.

The parish of Bures St Mary is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. SUNDAY WORSHIP

Occuring: Every First, Second, Third, Fourth Sunday at 10:30 a.m. for 1 hour
Venue: St.Mary's, Bures
Address

Our 10.30 service is either Holy Communion or Morning Worship, freshly created each week based on Common Worship and other permitted liturgy. We use a mix of traditional and contemporary music, led by choir, organ and worship band. Please see our monthly service listings for details.
Prayer ministry is offered at every service in the South Porch, either during communion or at the end.
Coffee and tea is served after every service.
On a 5th Sunday the service is usually held at either Assington or Little Cornard, but please check the monthly services pages as there are sometimes exceptions.
