It is always our aim to make these services as rich and deeply uplifting as possible, this service may be replaced on occasion with Morning Worship. As we gather around the Holy Altar we do so with others of all ages, social situations, races, sexualities and nationalities. And we realise that we are all equal before the eyes of our Creator God. This service, sometimes also called Mass or Holy Communion, is the staple bedrock of the church. It is deeply evocative, and draws all present into the sublime mystery of the Lord's Supper. We explore scripture, pray and are caught up in the power of the ritual together, as one body. As we gather around God's Table and hear Christ's words to 'Do this is remembrance of me', we are drawn into a mystery of timeless truth and united with each other in a deeply spiritual way. As we kneel before the Holy Altar we do so with others of all ages, social situations, races, sexualities and nationalities. And we realise that we are all equal before the eyes of our Creator God.
