We're pleased to announce that, following a lengthy application process, we now have funds to commission a series of repairs to St Mary's church. This includes replacing rusting ironwork, put in years ago to stabilise the stone and flint-work, with stainless steel, repairing flintwork and improving drainage to reduce damp (even if that sounds odd at the present time!). We won't be able to fix everything without further fund-raising, but this is a major step forward in preserving the church for the village. More details are attached.
