St Andrew Weybread

We extend a warm welcome to anyone who wants to visit, sit a while, contemplate, pray or worship with us.(See Services). We welcome visitors, bellringers (pre-booked), walkers and cyclists. We are dog-friendly.

You can find the round-towered church of St. Andrew at the end of Church Road (opposite the nursery). We are always open during daylight hours.

Although there are signs of its medieval origin, the church was sympathetically restored in the 1870's by the Diocesan Architect R.M.Phipson and many local craftspeople. There are magnificent stained glass windows and memorials to Weybread resident Sgt. Ablett, the first man in Suffolk to win the Victoria Cross.

There is seating in the well maintained churchyard and we are currently remapping the graves.
