Jill is regularly to be found on the international concert stage or recording studio, and is particularly praised for her interpretations of Chopin and Beethoven. She has recorded several critically acclaimed CDs. It is a rare privilege to be able to sit in such an intimate space and see and hear a professional concert pianist perform; those of you who heard her last year will remember her wonderful playing - we were spellbound for an hour - and how charming she was afterwards.
Jill has given many recitals on the South Bank and at the Wigmore Hall in London, and her other appearances have included Cadogan, Bridgewater and Fairfield Halls, St George’s Bristol, Leipzig Gewandhaus, Vienna Musikverein, Vienna Konzerthaus, the National Concert Hall, Dublin and Sage Gateshead. Jill has featured in the Classic FM Hall of Fame, and her Bach Well Tempered Clavier has received high praise, described by the Penguin Guide as ‘a remarkable achievement, ranking with the finest’. She has appeared on radio and TV, including live and recorded broadcasts on BBC Radios 3 and 4. Locally, Jill has played in St Edmundsbury and Ely cathedrals, and in a number of Suffolk venues, including Lavenham.
