Ascension Day is when we celebrate the ancient Christian belief that after his death and resurrection, Jesus was taken into heaven. It is exactly 40 days after Easter, and we will be celebrating this special day with a service at St Hilary Church at 7.00pm. All welcome.

St Hilary

Welcome to St Hilary Church.  We are an open, inclusive church in the modern liberal catholic tradition.

Our lovely building is generally open during the day (from 10.00am - dusk) and visitors are very welcome.  We also offer a warm welcome at our services, which are generally Sundays at 9.30am for a Sung Eucharist and Wednesdays at 10.00am for a Said Eucharist, both of which are followed by refreshments.
