Ascension Day Service – Thursday 14 May at 10am
St Bartholomew’s, Lostwithiel

You are warmly invited to join us at St Bartholomew’s on Thursday 14 May at 10am for our Ascension Day service. Ascension is a joyful feast, lifting our eyes and hearts as we remember Christ’s rising to glory and the promise of the Spirit yet to come.

After the service we’ll share refreshments (and cake!), so please do stay for a chat and a moment of fellowship.

All are welcome — whether Ascension Day is a familiar celebration or something new, you’ll find a gentle, prayerful service and a warm community to share it with.

Safeguarding

"Our parish of Lostwithiel is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Truro’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO [Bernice Gresswell and Brenda Gilbert]or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor [Andy Earl-01872 247212] or [email protected] . If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
