The Advent season this year will be celebrated in the Barfords by colourful window displays. We last did this in 2020 – pre COVID. Many of you will remember taking part or admiring them when walking round the Barfords during the Christmas season. They are created by families in the villages who volunteer to decorate a window in their house in preparation for Christmas, starting on 1st December. A different window is revealed each day until Christmas Eve. There is no need to be religious or arty and there is no 'theme', the aim is for each window to be a surprise as it is revealed. We would like to include windows through the whole village and hope to show photos of the windows on the village Facebook page and in the Barford News. If your family would like to take part, please contact us as soon as possible and choose your date between 1st -23rd December. We will also be at the Barford Market on Saturday 17th November and will have a chart with available dates for you to select. All you need is a window and enthusiasm!
