On Wednesday 27th August, in the Church of St Materianna, Tintagel, The Revd Simon Faulks was licensed by the Bishop of Truro and installed by the Archdeacon of Bodmin <a></a>as Rector of the Boscastle Group of Churches.We look forward to welcoming him very soon to St Gennys and wish him well as he and his family settle into their new home in the Rectory, Boscastle.
The Bishop of Truro, the Rt Revd David Williams is pleased to announce that the Revd Simon George Faulks, at present holding the Bishop’s Permission to Officiate in the Diocese of Oxford, and serving as assistant minister at St Mary’s, Bletchley, is to be Rector (with Oversight Responsibility) of the Benefice of the Boscastle Group of Churches in the Diocese of Truro. This is conditional on legal formalities being completed. He will be licensed at a place and on a date to be arranged.
