One of the main weekly services at St Helen's.
For children, Junior Church (3-7) and Quest (8-14) leave at various points during the service for their own Ministry of the Word. They return during the Peace to worship with the rest of the congregation. For younger children there is a toddler play corner with under floor heating in the church.
The Service for Healing and Wholeness includes laying-on of hands and anointing for healing for those who wish it. There is a Bible reading, hymns and a short sermon is given. Please note this service does not run in August or December.
Illustrated talks followed by an opportunity for discussion. We meet in the Parish Centre opposite the Church at 9am for coffee and breakfast.
Choral Evensong is sung by St Helen's choir on the third Sunday of the month. Very occasionally there is a simple Sung Evensong instead. Please note that evensong does not take place in August or December.
This is a concert performed by the choir or a soloist, lasting approximately 40 minutes.
