After weeks of collecting, sorting, washing, labelling and pricing, and raiding the village for tables and gazebos, the day dawned for the Langham Street Fayre. Morston PCC had organised a stall as a fundraiser selling 'Antique and Vintage' items and had a huge number of boxes containing the treasures. After an early start the stall was set up by 9am.
It was a perfect day - dry, sunny and not too hot which brought a large number of people to the event. Trading was brisk and at the end of the day the PCC had raised £650.
Thanks to all who donated, helped sort and set up and members of the community who came to see us - it was a real community effort.
