The Rogation Festival Event will begin and end at the Parish church of Lower Heyford (which has servery facilities and a toilet) We are aiming for a two hour walk/micro pilgrimage followed by a feast of soup, ploughman's lunch and biscuits.There will be an "easy" route along the canal which borders the western side of our parish - this will be suitable for young families and the less agile, and a "more challenging" route which will include a section of Ave's Ditch on the Western Boundary of the Parish, originally an Iron Age Tribal boundary.
