The Bishop of Thetford,  The Right Reverend Ian Bishop confirmed two candidates into the Church of England at a service held at St Ethelbert, Wretham on Easter Sunday 5th April 2026.  

This was a moving and beautiful service and a joyous occasion.  The confirmation candidates were presented with a lighted candle and a hazel sapling (a tradition of the Diocese of Norwich).

The Benefice Choir sang three anthems during communion, Lead me Lord, Now the Green Blade Riseth And See, What a Morning.

The organ was played by Peter Lee.
