Thurnby Lodge: Christ Church

We are a flourishing and lively welcoming church who seek to show that God loves us all by creating good fruitful relationships with all those in our community.

We are fully open now for services each Sunday. We continue to have Online prayer groups and our Young People Groups, KoolKidz & YACC, continue to meet during term time. Please email [email protected] for more info or to join in.

Please take some time at the beginning of the service to slow down and ask the Holy Spirit to meet with you during the service.

Safeguarding

"Our parish of Thurnby Lodge: Christ Church is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Leicester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO Kath Bamford or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor Rachel Spiers. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
