The four weeks of advent, represented by four candles in the advent wreath, can symbolise for us four gifts that are given to us in the birth of Jesus Christ (represented by a fifth candle in the centre of the advent wreath). Explore in depth what each of these gifts mean within the context of the Christian faith, drawing upon different passages from the Bible and being guided by resources from The Bible Project. Come along to enjoy a hot drink, breakfast pastries, faith and fellowship.

Safeguarding

Our parish of All Saints Hemblington is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Norwich safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO Mrs Sue Nichols ([email protected]) or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisors whose contact details can be found by clicking the button below. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
