Vigil

Occurring
for 3 hours
Venue
Easthampstead Parish Church
Address
Crowthorne Road, Easthampstead Bracknell, RG12 7ER, United Kingdom

Tonight, we gather at the threshold of the resurrection to reflect on the great story of God’s saving work. Through readings, prayers, and song, we journey from the wonder of creation, through the promises of the Old Testament, to the hope fulfilled in Christ. This Vigil connects us to the unfolding narrative of God’s love and faithfulness across all generations.

The stillness of this Saturday, marked by the emptiness of the tomb, gives way to the anticipation of new life. Together, we wait in hope, preparing our hearts for the joy of Easter morning.

Safeguarding

Our Parish Churches are committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Oxford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO [details can be found on the safeguarding link below] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor [details can be found here... www.oxford.anglican.org/safeguarding]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
