Dawn Service

Occuring
for 45 mins
Venue
Taplow St Nicolas
Address
High Street Taplow Maidenhead, SL6 0ET, United Kingdom

Held at Taeppa's Mound in the Old Churchyard, followed by breakfast at the New Rectory. This is the most atmospheric of our Easter services. We gather round a lit brazier by Taeppa's Mound (now in the grounds of Taplow Court with access from Berry Hill), to recall God's promises throughout the Old Testament as the light begins to dawn. And we celebrate the first communion of Easter after lighting a candle from the fire as we proclaim that He is Risen.

We are committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults.  We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO).  The Diocese of Oxford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs.
