Our last Angel Festival , for the foreseeable future started on Friday evening with a wine and cheese party after the Angels had all been successfully positioned around the church . Saturday after Mass saw a steady stream of visitors to see the Angels , take part in the various Angelic activities and partake of some much needed refreshments. Sunday morning Bishop Tony joined us for a very moving Confirmation service when 6 candidates from Holy Trinity were confirmed. We were joined by visitors for St Bartholomew's church in Armley and a confirmation candidate from that church. Our Junior choir excelled leading all the hymns and singing the Communion Anthem. The Confirmation service was followed by a hot and cold buffet lunch enjoyed by all attendees at Mass. The Angel event finally drew to a close at 16:00 on Sunday afternoon.
