A chance to pray for ourselves, our churches and wider community, our country, and the world - not necessarily in that order, or in the same depth for each area! But we believe that God is in this with us, and wants us to bring our needs to him in prayer.. St John the Evangelist, Hipswell, is open weekly for our 9.30am morning services, either Holy Communion or Services of the Word. At St Cuthbert's, Colburn, we meet weekly in the Church buildings for our 11am Sunday services of both kinds, and a new, monthly All-age Worship service. Also at St Cuthbert's is our monthly Praise & Worship service, 6 for 6.30pm on the first Sunday of the month (apart from January and August). Holy Communion is received in both kinds, by intinction, or in one kind only, in receiving a wafer only.
In both churches, while mask-wearing and social distancing remain entirely optional, we are asking church members and visitors to be considerate towards others - and to stay away if they have Covid-19 symptoms.

Why not come along to our fortnightly 'Wellbeing Cafe'? It's a warm, friendly, welcoming space, with plenty of time to chat, drink decent Fairtrade tea and coffee, and even play some board games - should you wish!
