Our foundation stone was laid in 1933. So to celebrate this event we are having a special Sunday service on the 5th November 2023. Instead of our normal Sunday service time of 9-30 a.m. we begin at 10-00 a.m. This is a combined service with our sister church, St. Mary`s on Town Street. Therefore, there will be no service at St. Mary`s on the 5th November.
Please come and celebrate with us on the 5th November, all welcome!

Middleton: St Cross

We are a vibrant Anglican Church, DISCOVERING God's purpose in our community and in all the places we are called to serve. SHARING the love of Jesus in words and in actions through forming good relationships within the community. BELONGING to a worshipping community of faith that love and care for each other especially those who are new members.

We offer a service of Holy Communion (Eucharist) every Sunday (except the last Sunday of the month when we have a congregation led service). Holy Communion at 9:30.a.m. Apart from the first Sunday of the month when the service is at 10.00 a.m. and alternates on a monthly basis, with our sister church, St. Mary's.

We also offer a mid week Holy Communion (Said Eucharist) service which starts at 11:00am every Wednesday at St Cross. We have an informal Songs of Praise service on last Sunday of each month in Spring and Summer at St Cross Church, Middleton Park Avenue, Leeds LS10 4HT at 6:30pm.

A warm welcome awaits you at all of our services or events. We try to live by the teaching of Jesus, to love God and love each other. If you’re new to Middleton, and looking to join a lively, friendly Church, come along to one of our services and say hello. After the service the whole church meets for refreshments and fellowship and a time to catch up with each other.
