St Barnabas' Church, Weeton

Welcome to our church! Whether you’re young or old, local or just visiting, you are warmly invited to join us. Come as you are and be part of a friendly, caring community where everyone belongs. We look forward to seeing you at our services!

Everyone welcome! We have two services a month usually: a family service on the 1st Sunday of the month and a Parish Eucharist on the 3rd Sunday... both start at 11am and you are very welcome to join us for refreshments afterwards. St Barnabas is a lovely large church with a long aisle, full amenities, and plenty of (comfortable) seats, so it makes a wonderful venue for Weddings, Baptisms and Funerals.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Weeton is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO) Jeremy Cross, 07973 954556 or [email protected]

Our Diocese of Leeds’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO . If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
