About Us

St Bernard's Wengen was built in 1928 to meet the needs of the British skiers and other tourists who had discovered the amazing beauty of this place and its surrounding panorama of the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau mountains. Intercontinental Church Society owns and maintains the church and provides Short-term Chaplains who are in resort for around eight months of the year to serve the local community as well as the large number of English-speaking tourists of different nationalities, many of whom return year after year.
