We are a Christian church, part of the Church of England, seeking to live our lives with God and share the joy of knowing Him with others. We are on a journey, with a desire to see the Church of Jesus Christ grow throughout Upper Wensleydale through experiencing God’s love and presence in our daily lives.

We are a family of four churches, united as the Benefice of Upper Wensleydale: St Oswald’s in Askrigg, St Matthew’s in Stalling Busk, St Mary and St John in Hardraw, and St Margaret’s in Hawes.

Our prayer and hope is that the Church in Upper Wensleydale will be a place of welcome, love and truth, where we encounter God through His Holy Spirit and enjoy living our lives with Him together.
