Elaine Palmer

NE Volume ‘Her music has textures of New Country while being authentic, dark and edgy. I believe that if there is some possible way that Karen Anne Carpenter, Stevie Nicks and Jonny Cash had a child together, that child would be Elaine.’ *****

In the Beginning….

Elaine Palmer hails from an isolated village up on the North Yorkshire Moors in England but spent most of her life travelling back and forward to her family in Phoenix, Arizona. Growing up in an old Watermill in the wilds of Yorkshire Elaine surrounded herself by music, writing songs influenced by her surroundings and music both in the UK and USA. Elaine finely honed her distinctive voice and built a reputation for her emotive mesmerizing stage presence as her fusion of British Fok and American Country styles. Elaine has released a handful of records and toured the UK extensively, playing with the likes of Patty Griffin, Lilly Hiatt, Sea Sick Steve and Paolo Nutini.
