Spoken Holy Communion every Sunday at 8am, using the Book of Common Prayer.
On the 1st, 3rd & 5th Sunday, the service will be in Traditional Language
On the 2nd & 4th Sunday, the service will be in Contemporary Language

On the 1st & 3rd Sunday of every month, we hold services with a flexible format which might include deeper teaching or services built around a different theme.

As we enter the Fourth Sunday of Advent, our path to Bethlehem is lit by the Star of Love. This week, we draw closer to the heart of the Christmas story: God’s love made known in the promise of new life. On our Advent wreath, we will light the fourth candle - the candle of love - a reminder of the self-giving, transforming love that lies at the very centre of our faith.

During this service, we will also have a Baptism.

A simple, welcoming service at St Mary’s, Wargrave for our youngest children and their families (pre-school and toddlers), sharing the Christmas story through music, prayer, and activities.

A cheerful, relaxed service for families and older children, filled with carols, creativity, and the joy of faith made fun. All are welcome and we invite you to bring a star.

We welcome all families as we celebrate the birth of Jesus.

At the heart of this service is the act of taking bread, giving thanks, remembering the Lord Jesus Christ's death on the Cross; and a sermon is preached.
If there are 5 Sundays in the month, then the 4th Sunday will also follow this format.
