Faith Focus

Occurring
for 45 mins
Venue
Wendlebury - St Giles
Address
Church Lane Wendlebury Bicester, OX25 2PN, United Kingdom

For those who are unable to take part in the practical work of our Lent Labour sessions, we are offering a three-quarter hour Faith Focus in church before lunch. This will explore biblical teaching about the value of work – not only paid work, but all the everyday tasks through which we serve one another and honour God.

After each session we will gather in church for a simple lunch of bread, soup and cheese. This shared meal will be an important part of the day – a moment to pause, to give thanks, and to enjoy fellowship together.

Wendlebury - St Giles

St Giles’ congregation welcomes you and hopes you will feel at home in our fellowship. We hold regular services in different styles, but they are always informal and friendly.

St Giles’ is very happy to play host to the vibrant and versatile Wendlebury Community Choir.

During 2025 we hope to install a WC and a small servery.

Pastoral care is very important and individual members of the congregation are active in helping those in need in the village. Please get in touch with one of the wardens or clergy if you would like a visit or know of someone who would appreciate one.

There is a rota of local volunteers who are responsible for cleaning, flower arranging and the upkeep of the churchyard. Please get in touch with one of the wardens or clergy if you would like to help out.

The church is normally open during daylight hours. There is seating in the pews for 80 people and in the choir stalls for a further 10.
