Welcome to St Peter and St Paul in the heart of Great Bowden.
We believe God made and loves us just as we are. We want to be an inclusive church, which welcomes and celebrates everyone in all our diversity. A church where everyone feels safe to be themselves, and where we actively stand up against discrimination on the grounds of disability, race and ethnicity, gender and sexuality, neurodiversity, age, faith, or financial means. We’re not there yet, but we’re trying actively to make St Peter and St Paul’s a community that everyone can access and where everyone belongs.
The Parish of St Peter and St Paul, Great Bowden is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies. Details of our Parish Safeguarding officers can be found below.
The Diocese of Leicester’s safeguarding pages https://www.leicester.anglican.org/about/safeguarding/ contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA). If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
