Calling all creatures great and small!
“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!” – Psalm 150:6

On Sunday 7th September, we’re delighted to invite you—and your beloved pets—to a joyful United Pet
Service in celebration of Creationtide! Whether they bark, meow, chirp, slither, hop, trot or even just sit
quietly in a tank, all species are warmly welcomed as we come together to give thanks for the beauty and
wonder of God’s creation.

This will be a fun and family-friendly service with songs, prayers, and blessings specially for our animal
companions, who bring so much joy, comfort, and chaos into our lives. Expect a little noise, a lot of love, and
possibly the appearance of a Labrador or two!

🐶 🐱 🐰 🦎 🐦 🐢 🐍 🐟 🐴

Please note:
This is a change to the usual calendar—so don’t miss it! It’s a wonderful opportunity to come together as
one community (two-legged, four-legged, finned, and feathered alike) as part of our observance of
Creationtide—a season that reminds us of our shared calling to cherish and protect the natural world.
So bring a lead, a basket, a box—or just a photo if your pet prefers to stay at home—and join us as we give
thanks to God for all His creatures.

This service will be held outside - weather permitting.

Hymns:
For the beauty of the earth 167
If I were a butterfly 291
Think of a world without any flowers 662
Who put the colours in the rainbow 73
