Ulpha: St John the Baptist

Welcome to the homepage for St John the Baptist's church, Ulpha.

Our church is open at all times and you are very welcome to visit. Please leave your comments in our visitors book.

We have two services each month.  Our schedule is for a family Communion service on the first Sunday of each month, starting at 3pm, with our regular lay led Evensong service on the third Sunday at 6pm.

We encourage all of you with children to bring them along to the family service on the first Sunday of every month at 3pm. Of course, you are welcome to come along without youngsters and enjoy the atmosphere in our lovely church.

Our Evensong service on 18th May 2025, which falls at the end of Christian Aid Week, will have a Christian Aid theme.

If you are visiting the area on holiday, or visiting family, come along on our first or third Sundays.  They happen every month, so no excuses for missing them...  All the services in the area are advertised in the Parish Pump, available locally and online.
