Easter is the heart of the Christian faith and a time of hope, renewal, and joy. At St Sebastian’s, we warmly invite you to join us as we reflect on the events of Holy Week and celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Join us this Easter – a celebration of hope, renewal, and new beginnings.
Easter Sunday (5 April at 10am), join us for powerful worship, an inspiring message, and a reminder that because Jesus lives, hope is alive. Bring your family and friends and experience the joy of resurrection morning with us. All are welcome—come as you are and celebrate the good news with us!
In the days before Easter Sunday, we meet together to remember the events of Holy Week.
Maundy Thursday (2 April at 8pm) marks the beginning of the sacred journey toward the cross. On this night, we remember Jesus’ final meal with his disciples, his command to love one another, and his humble act of washing their feet. Through Scripture and prayer, we are invited to reflect on Christ’s self-giving love and the call to serve others. This 8pm service moves us from light into shadow, preparing our hearts for Good Friday. All are welcome to come, worship, and remember.
Good Friday (3 April at 1pm) Service by the cross. An opportunity to reflect on Jesus’ death on the cross in a time of silence, reflection and worship. Join us for half hour on the hour or half hour until 3pm – or stay the whole time.
Saturday Evening Vigil (4 April at 8pm) Join us on Saturday evening as we gather for the Easter Vigil, a hope-filled service. Beginning in darkness and moving into light, this service tells the story of God’s saving work through Scripture, prayer and song. Together we await the resurrection, celebrating Christ’s victory over sin and death and welcoming the joy of Easter. All are invited to come and experience this powerful service of reflection, renewal, and resurrection hope.
