Sunday 10th August 2025

“Do not be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”
What a line. Quiet, small—and utterly revolutionary.

This Sunday, Jesus speaks not to the powerful, but to the vulnerable. Not to lions, but to sheep—and not just sheep, a little flock. That’s us. Tired parents, anxious students, those trying to hold it all together with duct tape and a cup of tea.

And what does he say? Not “do more” or “be stronger,” but simply: you are mine. And the Kingdom? It’s already being given.

Faith, it turns out, isn’t about performance—it’s about trust. Jesus calls us to be alert, yes, but not anxious. Ready, but not rushed. Dependent, not defeated.

So come, little flock. Bring your friends. Bring your fears. Come and find again that the Communion table is already set.

With every blessing, Mark
